At just 16 years old, Marianne Beatriz Bermundo is making a name for herself as a determined and accomplished individual, serving as an inspiration to her peers. A student at Manila Adventist College in Pasay City, Bermundo balances academics with a growing career in beauty pageants.
Her journey to success has been defined by persistence and self-discovery.
“The most defining moment of my life was when I joined and won beauty pageants,” she shared, reflecting on the milestones that shaped her growth. “It’s not just about winning a crown. It’s about learning, growing, and finding out who I truly am.”
Through the challenges of competing, Bermundo has cultivated resilience, proving that success often stems from overcoming self-doubt and pushing past limitations.
Bermundo’s impressive list of titles includes Queen Humanity International 2023 and Miss Teen Culture World International 2023, both held in Vietnam.
Beyond the accomplishments, she stands out for her humility and grounded perspective. “What keeps me grounded is the love and support from the people around me. Even when I achieve success, I try to remain humble and selfless,” she explained.
Her humility also leads to her admitting that balancing responsibilities hasn’t been easy. “Being a graduating student while competing in beauty pageants and handling other commitments can be overwhelming. That’s why I turn to the people closest to me for support. They help me find balance and ease the pressure.”
For Bermundo, success is more than external recognition. “Success isn’t about fame or wealth. It’s about being content with what you have, reaching your goals, and sharing your achievements with those you love.” Her perspective resonates with young people navigating the complexities of ambition and self-worth.
The young beauty queen also advocates for self-love, encouraging her peers to embrace their individuality. “Love who you are. Trust yourself enough to reach for your dreams and know that everything begins with you.”
Her personal mantra, “Life is inconsistent. The only consistent thing about life is how inconsistent it is,” reflects her understanding of life’s unpredictability and the importance of adaptability.
“As a young woman, I’ve learned that life is full of surprises, both good and bad. But it’s how we respond to those changes and stay true to ourselves that matters the most.”
As Bermundo continues her journey, she represents more than just beauty and grace. She is a young woman with a message — that through resilience, determination, and self-belief, one can overcome challenges and inspire others.
