Puregold Price Club, Inc., a leading retail giant in the Philippines, was honored as one of Manila City’s Top Business Taxpayers during the Gawad Manileño 2024 awards ceremony held at the Metropolitan Theater in Ermita, Manila on June 17, 2024.
The “Mga Natatanging Tagapagbayad ng Buwis Para sa Negosyo” award recognizes outstanding companies, including Puregold, for their dutiful payment of taxes, contributing to the growth of the city. Manila mayor Honey-Lacuna Pangan and vice mayor John Marvin “Yul Servo” Nieto presented the awards.
Puregold was among eight companies honored in the category, alongside notable businesses like International Container Terminal Services, Inc., Mercury Drug Corporation, Asian Terminals Incorporated, Manila North Harbour Port, Inc., Philippine Chinese Charitable Association, Inc., SM Prime Holdings, Inc., and Golden Arches Development Corporation.
