During the top 10 question-and-answer portion, Baguio City got the question: Should inclusivity be a top priority among pageants? Yes or no? Explain your answer.

Her answer: “Pageantry is a platform where we express ourselves as women and men. I feel like this is a platform to promote our advocacies, the cause we are fighting for, and the things we love. I think that in a world that’s evolving, we, as humans, should evolve, too.”

First Princess or First Runner-Up Omay was asked, “If you were asked to come up with your own slogan to promote the Philippines, what would it be and why?

The beauty from Tarlac answered, “If I could come up with a slogan for the Philippines, it would have to be, and still is: ‘Choose the Philippines.’ I would give you many reasons why we Filipinos always come out on top in a community, in a setting, in a world [stage], and the reason why is because we’re always happy with each other.”

The Pampanga beauty, also called Palengke Queen for selling goods at the wet market, was asked, “Do you want to be different, or do you want to belong? Please explain.

“As someone who experienced being neglected and ignored, I want to experience the sense of belongingness, and that’s my ‘Beauty with a Purpose,’ empowering the indigenous people. So, I want to champion the sense of belongingness. Indeed, no one deserves to be left behind and being neglected.”

Aside from the Miss World Philippines 2024 winner and her runners-up, four other queens were crowned.

Patricia Bianca Tapia of Batangas was named Miss Philippines Tourism 2024; Dia Mate of Cavite was named Reina Hispano-Americana Filipinas 2024; Nikki Buenafe of Pangasinan was named Miss Multinational Philippines; and Jeanne Isabelle Bilasano of Bicol Region was named Face of Beauty International Philippines.

The other beauties in the top 10 were Andrea Endicio of Quezon Province, Riana Pangindian of Kapitolyo, Pasig City, and Gabrielle Lantzer of Manila.

Miss World Organization Chairman Julia Morley gave a short speech and related how her passion for helping others through “lighting a candle” led her to put up the pageant.
