Mindanao-based listed firm A Brown Company Inc. (ABC) said it expects robust growth ahead with expansion of its residential and power projects.
ABCI said in a statement it would focus on township developments, including the Mountain Pines Farm Estates in Bukidnon, a 280-hectare project with plans for an 18-hole golf course underway, and the 300-hectare Epic Mountain Estate in Tanay, Rizal boasting of mountain views and cool temperatures.
It is also poised to launch vertical residences such as Coral Bay Suites’ The Royale and The Navy Towers in Misamis Oriental and Highlands Fairway Suites in Butuan City.
It said that beyond residential projects, the company was also actively expanding its portfolio of power projects with greenfield power under Vires Energy Corp. (VEC).
VEC is developing a 450-megawatt LNG power project in Simlong, Batangas City, while Northmin Renewables Corp. is developing the Misor wind power project and the Bukidnon wind power projects.
ABCI also has investments in the power sector through affiliates Palm Concepcion Power Corp. and Peakpower Energy Inc.
The company’s subsidiary Irradiation Solutions Inc. (ISI) is also looking to start commercial operations of its e-beam and cold storage facility in Tanay, Rizal in August 2024.
ISI is seen to contribute to A Brown’s bottom line beginning 2025.
“The support and trust of our financial partners, brokers, sales producers and all stakeholders was crucial to our success in 2023, and we look forward to sharing our achievements with you in 2024,” said ABCI president and chief executive Robertino Pizarro.
ABCI reported that its board of directors approved a cash dividend of P0.025 per share payable on Aug. 15, 2024. This is A Brown’s first cash dividend declaration in 14 years.
