P-pop idol Colet of the girl group BINI revealed that she almost gave up on her during the pandemic.
On the latest episode of comedienne-host Melai Cantiveros’ talk show, “Kuan-On-One”, the lead rapper opened up about her journey to becoming one of the members of P-pop sensation BINI.
She later revealed that the pandemic had taken its toll on her making her think of giving up on her dreams of becoming a singer. But, good thing that she thought about it a lot and never stopped believing in herself.
“I just thought that all my efforts would be wasted if I stopped. That’s what ran through my mind. I decided to continue and handle the training. I just thought that other people could handle it, my companions could also handle it. I saw that it was really possible,” said Colet.
Before debuting in 2021, Colet and other BINI members—Aiah, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena—had undergone a two-year training under Star Hunt Academy.
“Good thing I didn’t give up. Fortunately, I continued even though it was tiring because the Lord will not give you a test that you cannot handle. There’s really a purpose and reason why the Lord put you there because He knows you can overcome it,” she added.
