MANILA, Philippines — The water level at the Marikina River continues to swell, reaching 20.2 meters as of 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Evacuation is ongoing, according to Marikina Mayor Marcy Teodoro.
The highest recorded water level at the Marikina River was at 22 meters on Nov. 12, 2023 with Typhoon Ulysses. Typhoon Ondoy recorded 21.25 meters in September 2009.
