While teachers are like real-life superheroes in many ways, one educator in Batanes is winning admiration for a feat that recalls one superhero in particular.
According to a 24 Oras report on Thursday, netizens are showering praise on teacher Carol Baro in the town of Sabtang, who climbed the flagpole at their school with a Spider-Man-like flair.
Their flag ceremony had been delayed because the rope used to raise the flag was broken, so Baro came to the rescue and strung a new cord at the top of the pole.
She said she has climbed the same flagpole before as there were no male personnel in their school.
