THE government has secured financing agreements from the Export-Import Bank of Korea (Kexim) under the Economic Development Promotion Facility (EDPF) to fund several infrastructure projects.

Projects to be considered for a $3-billion deal — equivalent to P172.54 billion based on the peso closing at P57.515 to a US dollar on Wednesday — include the Panay-Guimaras-Negros Island Bridges, the Consolacion-Liloan Bypass Road, the Lapu-Lapu Coastal Road and Phase II of the Pampanga Integrated Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation Project.
