Pormal na sinelyuhan ng Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. at Nacionalista Party (NP) ni dating Senate president Manny Villar, ang kanilang alyansa bilang paghahanda sa Eleksyon 2025.
Pinangunahan nina Marcos at Villar, ang pirmahan ng kasunduan sa alyansa ng kanilang mga partido sa idinaos na pagtitipon sa Bonifacio Global City sa Taguig nitong Huwebes.
Ang NP ang ika-apat na partido politikal na nakipag-alyansa sa PFP, kasunod ng Lakas-CMD, National Unity Party (NUP), at Nationalist People’s Coalition (NPC).
Sa kaniyang talumpati, sinabi ni Marcos na dati rin siyang miyembro ng NP pero lumipat lang sa PFP dahil nagmamadali siya noon sa pagtakbo bilang pangulo noong 2022 presidential elections na siya ang nanalo.
Inihayag din ni Marcos ang kahalagahan ng mga binubuong alyansa ng mga partido.
“To better orchestrate our collective priorities and plans for the nation, the PFP is working closely with our colleagues from the Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats, the Nationalist People’s Coalition, [and] the National Unity Party,” ani Marcos.
“And today, we have the opportunity to forge another partnership that will broaden the grand coalition working under the banner of Bagong Pilipinas. We declare, the PFP, we declare officially its collaboration with the Nacionalista Party through the signing of our alliance,” dagdag ng pangulo.
Sinabi naman ni Villar tungkol sa alyansa na, “We need to prove to the Filipino people that we are a nation capable of rising above our differences in order to build a bright future for the country.”
Inihayag din ni Villar na laging sumusuporta ang Nacionalista kay Marcos, na naging partido rin ng huli gaya nang tumakbo siyang senador noong 2010 elections.
“He was part of my senatorial lineup when I ran for President in 2010. And when he ran for President, the entire party threw its support to his candidacy. I should also mention here that his father, the late President Ferdinand E. Marcos, was a Nacionalista,” ani Villar.
“The President has always demonstrated his love for our country. I have always enjoyed our conversations about the issues facing our country because when he talks I am convinced that he is motivated by patriotism and his desire to improve the lives of our people,” dagdag niya.
Sa ngayon, wala pang opisyal na listahan ang PFP at mga kaalyadong partido pagdating sa senatorial candidates.
“Sa ngayon wala pa, mag-uusap-usap pa ang lahat ng mga partidong naka-alliance sa atin at paguusapan pa ‘yung senatorial list natin pero ‘yun nga hihintayin natin ‘yung tamang panahon,” ayon kay PFP president at South Cotabato Governor Reynaldo Tamayo Jr.
