MANILA, Philippines — The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board yesterday announced the resignation of LTFRB spokesperson Celine Pialago effective Aug. 31.
“We would like to inform the public that the agency has officially received the resignation of Ms. Celine Pialago today from her position as spokesperson/communications head, effective Aug. 31,” the LTFRB said in a statement.
The LTFRB did not mention the reason for Pialago’s decision.
“Pialago has served the agency with dedication, and while we are saddened to see her depart, we respect her decision to move forward in her journey,” the LTFRB said.
In her resignation letter addressed to LTFRB Chairman Teofilo Guadiz III, Pialago said she would ensure a smooth transition.
Pialago was appointed as LTFRB spokesperson in November 2023.
