Actor Mon Confiado has taken to Facebook to call out content creator Ileiad for sharing a false story about an alleged encounter with him at a grocery store in Marikina.

In Confiado’s post, the actor expressed his frustrations with the content creator for claiming that he rudely interacted with him, yelled at the cashier, and stole fifteen Milky Way bars before leaving the store.

The actor denied the allegations and said that when he confronted the content creator, he was told that the post was simply a joke and a “copypasta,” a term referring to blocks of text copied and pasted online out of context for comedic effect.

Following their conversation, Ileiad added a disclaimer to the post, but it was already too late, as people had already been messaging Confiado to ask if it was true. The actor further said that the content creator did not take the post down despite being warned that he planned on filing a case against him otherwise.

“Parang sobra na itong mga to ah at para makakuha lang ng likes kahit makasagasa pa sila ng tao,” said Confiado.

As of writing, the post, as well as Ileiad’s Facebook page, has been taken down.
