From a typical Filipino-Chinese family, the Lim siblings grew up working for the family business after school and whenever there was spare time.
As the only boy in a brood of five, Erik succeeded their father in taking charge of the family’s expanding share in Cebu’s booming business district.

The family’s journey to Cebu from their hometown in Mindanao was a pivotal moment. It allowed them to diversify from operating a community mall in Ozamiz City to tapping into new opportunities in the Queen City of the South.
While not all siblings are directly involved, the three who share a deep commitment to the family business have been relentlessly pursuing auspicious leads.
“We’ve always shared the same dreams for the family and the family business. Working with siblings has its own advantages. While there are times we are not on the same page, it’s not difficult for us to set aside our differing views which I guess is an offshoot of the bond we have growing up in a disciplined household,” Brigitte, the eldest of the brood, said.
Brigitte, the company’s vice president and chief operating officer, ensures the seamless functioning of Topline’s diverse ventures.
“Our goal is to not only meet our clients’ expectations, but to exceed them. Our operational excellence means that our clients can count on us to fuel their success, no matter the challenge or circumstance,” she said.
