MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 4 earthquake rocked Ilocos Norte on Saturday night, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology.
Phivolcs said the quake occurred at 6:25 p.m. and its epicenter was located 28 kilometers north of Burgos town.
The temblor was felt at Intensity 4 in Bangui and Burgos, and Intensity 3 in Pagudpud and Pasuquin.
Intensities 2 and 1 were felt in Bacarra and Laoag City, respectively, according to state seismologists.
The quake was not expected to generate aftershocks or cause damage to property.
