Filipino rock legend Ely Buendia is performing live on Sept. 14 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater. Fans of the former Eraserheads frontman will have the rare chance to see him perform his iconic hits in a one-night solo concert directed by Jamie Wilson.
The concert will feature well-loved tracks from Buendia’s Eraserheads days, including hits like “Pare Ko,” “Ligaya,” and “Huling El Bimbo,” as well as his more recent works. Buendia’s influence extends beyond his time with Eraserheads, having also led bands like Pupil, The Oktaves, and Apartel.
In recent years, Buendia has headlined solo concerts at the Newport Performing Arts Theater, including performances with the cast of Ang Huling El Bimbo The Musical.
