PHILIPPINE pineapple exports increased by 2.7 percent last year, making the country the second leading exporter of the fruit in 2023, the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) said.
In its tropical fruits market review for 2023, the FAO said the Philippines delivered a total of 600,000 metric tons (MT) of pineapples last year, compared to 2022’s 580,000 MT.
