MALABON City Mayor Jeannie Sandoval on Tuesday said the prompt repair conducted by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) and the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) on the damaged navigational gate of the Malabon-Navotas River prevented worse flooding in the area.
“On behalf of my constituents, I would like to express my gratitude to MMDA and DPWH for working hand in hand to fix the floodgate right on time,” she added.
