Korean sensation RM of BTS is set to unveil his personal journey in a new solo documentary. Titled “RM: Right People, Wrong Place,” the film will make its world premiere at the 29th Busan International Film Festival.

The documentary offers an intimate look into the creation of RM’s second solo album, “Right Place, Wrong Person,” and his quest for self-discovery. The film explores the duality of RM’s identity as both a celebrated artist and a private individual, showcasing how his true self emerges when these boundaries blur.

“Artist RM, and human Kim Namjoon. ‘Right’ and ‘Wrong.’ An uninvited guest amid the norm (Right Place, Wrong Person), and the normal amid the abnormal (Right Person, Wrong Place),” the announcement read.

Selected for the Open Cinema session, the film will be screened at the Busan Cinema Center’s outdoor BIFF Theater. The festival will take place from Oct. 2 to 11.

The official release date for “RM: Right People, Wrong Place” will be announced on BTS and CJ 4DPLEX Originals channels. Tickets for the Open Cinema session can be purchased through the Busan International Film Festival’s official website or app.

RM’s latest solo album, “Right Place, Wrong Person,” was released in May and includes the tracks “Come back to me,” “LOST!,” and “Groin.” He is also featured on Megan Thee Stallion’s upcoming single, “Neva Play.”
