Former Chief Presidential Legal Counsel and TMT Columnist Salvador Panelo said that any possible impeach move against the vice president could be quashed as it was a “numbers game” in the Senate and the possible grounds of impeachment were not sufficient. His statement comes after Former Gabriela Rep. and Makabayan senatorial aspirant Liza Maza told reporters at “The Agenda” press briefing in San Juan City that they were in discussions on whether they would file an impeachment complaint against Vice President Sara Duterte due to “betrayal of public trust” over the notice of disallowance of the OVP regarding its confidential funds and her demeanor during the congressional budget hearings.
