MANILA, Philippines — The joint venture between Ayala Land Inc. subsidiary AyalaLand Logistics Holdings Corp. (ALLHC) and Flow Digital Infrastructure is poised to start operations of its first data center in Laguna by the fourth quarter.

A-Flow said it has completed the structural framework of the first building in its data center campus in Biñan.

The data center is slated to begin operations in the fourth quarter with an initial six-megawatt capacity ready for service.

“This project embodies our commitment to supporting the growing demand for data storage as the Philippines transitions to a digital economy. We are proud to contribute and participate in this opportunity to provide the country’s need for data center solutions and digital infrastructure within the Philippines,” A-Flow chairman and ALLHC president and CEO Robert Lao said.

ALLHC said that the key features of the new ML1 data center include robust and secure infrastructure to ensure operational continuity and dual power feeds for enhanced redundancy.

It also features a hyperconnected environment establishing network diversity and flexibility as well as scalability to accommodate future business growth.

A-Flow is developing a three-building carrier-neutral campus that is strategically situated in Laguna.

It is designed to meet the highest standards of energy efficiency, scalability and security, with a focus on site resiliency and reliability.

A-Flow broke ground on the site in December 2022.
