The powerful Commission on Appointments on Tuesday confirmed the nominations of three ambassadors and the ad interim appointments of 28 foreign service officials.
Before this development, CA committee on foreign affairs chairperson Senator Jinggoy Estrada endorsed to the plenary the approval of the following appointments:
-Daniel Ramos Espiritu: Chief of Mission, Class I as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Ireland
-Mardomel Celo Domingo Melicor: Chief of Mission, Class II as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the State of Qatar
-Mary Anne Alfonso Padua: Chief of Mission, Class II as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste
-Romulo Victor Manzano Israel Jr.: Chief Of Mission, Class II
-Maria Anton Ina Mendoza Oblena: Chief Of Mission, Class II
-Emma Romano Sarne: Chief Of Mission, Class II
