MANILA, Philippines — Dismissed Bamban, Tarlac mayor Alice Guo is expected to attend the resumption of the hearing by the Senate committee on women, children, family relations, and gender equality led by Sen. Risa Hontiveros today, Tuesday.
Alice, her sister Shiela and business partner Cassandra Li Ong are all under government custody amid their alleged involvement in the illegal activities of Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGOs), among others. They were arrested separately in Indonesia after fleeing the country in July following the issuance of arrest orders by the Senate for their refusal to attend the hearings.
