SINGER and songwriter Charlie Puth — who is behind the hits “One Call Away,” “We Don’t Talk Anymore” and “Left and Right” — married his childhood friend Brooke Sansone.
Puth confirmed the marriage through a series of Instagram posts and a sweet message for his wife he made public on September 18 (Manila time).
“I love you Brooke…I always have, with you I am my very best. I promise I’ll love you everyday in this life, and even more when we move on to our next… Thank you for making me the happiest man alive. It has always been you,” he wrote.
However, it was revealed that the couple tied the knot on September 7 at Puth’s family residence in Montecito, California.
“We chose the Puth family residence because we just knew Montecito would offer the perfect backdrop. I wanted our wedding to marry tradition with modern unconventionality,” Sansone revealed in an interview with “Vogue.”
Still, according to Vogue, the couple exchanged I do’s at “Charlie’s parents’ driveway in front of a beautiful olive tree Brooke fell in love with the first time she visited the home.”
Puth wore a custom-made Bode suit with lace details while Sansone donned a strapless Danielle Frankel white gown with flower details.
The couple started dating in 2022 but has known each other since childhood as they both grew up in New Jersey. Puth then popped the question in September 2023.
Puth first broke in the music industry in 2015 through the hit song “See You Again” (with Wiz Khalifa) and later on with his first single, “Marvin Gaye” (with Meghan Trainor). Besides hits under his belt, Puth has also earned a name in Hollywood for writing and producing hits for the likes of Maroon 5, Liam Payne, Jason Derulo and Stray Kids.
