Tulfo brothers lead senatorial survey

MANILA, Philippines — ACT-CIS Partylist Rep. Erwin Tulfo and broadcaster Ben Tulfo continue to lead in the third quarter senatorial survey conducted by independent pollster OCTA Research.

In its Third Quarter Tugon ng Masa survey, Erwin Tulfo got a 60 percent voting preference for senator, followed by Ben Tulfo, host of investigative show “Bitag,” at 57 percent.

Rounding out the top six are former Senate president Vicente Sotto 3rd. Sen. Bong Go, former senator Panfilo Lacson, and Sen. Ramon Revilla Jr.

From the seventh to 15th places are Sen. Pia Cayetano, Sen. Francis Tolentino, former senator Manny Pacquiao, Sen. Imee Marcos, Sen. Lito Lapid, former president Rodrigo Duterte, and Sen. Ronald Dela Rosa.

Interior Secretary Benjamin Abalos Jr. and physician Willie Ong are placed from 10th to 16th.

The survey had 1,200 respondents and a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percent.
