A confessed member of alleged sex offender Apollo Quiboloy’s armed enforcers called the “Angels of Death” has surrendered to police and agreed to tell all about the religious leader’s intimate exploits with underage “pastorals” as well as what they did to keep them quiet.
The Philippine National Police (PNP) announced Friday that the unnamed would-be former member of Quiboloy’s “private army” is presently under the protection of the Police Regional Office 11 (PRO-11), whose jurisdiction encompasses the Davao Region.
However, PNP spokesperson Col. Jean Fajardo told reporters that investigators are still looking into the background of the supposed Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) hatchet man to verify his claim.
Davao City police chief Col. Hansel Marantan earlier told reporters that they are looking into reports that members of the Angels of Death had already killed some of Quiboloy’s victims to keep them from testifying about their ordeals.
Meanwhile, US-based former KOJC worker Arlene Stone accused Quiboloy of “gifting” ex-president Rodrigo Duterte and other close associates with the company of “pastorals,” presumably for sex.
In an interview with DZRH, Stone said one of the victims of sex trafficking still resides within the sprawling KOJC compound in Davao City.
“Based on my information, (certain pastorals) were being offered to (powerful people) very close to Quiboloy, like for example president Duterte. If he (Duterte) likes one of the members of the pastoral, Quiboloy would grant it,” the whistleblower said in the radio interview.
