London-based fashion brand COS hosted a private gathering of industry insiders on Sept. 10 to celebrate its Autumn Winter 2024 collection during New York Fashion Week. The event took place at The Odeon, a renowned restaurant in Tribeca, marking COS’s third consecutive year at NYFW.
The dinner featured the venue’s classic design elements, including wood paneling and red banquettes, creating a warm atmosphere. Guests enjoyed a menu of brasserie-style cuisine paired with cocktails such as French 75, Cosmopolitan, and Martini.
Notable attendees included fashion icons and emerging talents like Coleman Domingo, Issa Rae, Mette Towley, Lennon Gallagher, Aidan Bissett, Mika Hashizume, Pruk Panich, and Youngdae Kim, all dressed in COS, many wearing pieces from the runway show. COS Design Director Karin Gustafsson was also present.
Earlier in the day, the COS Autumn Winter 2024 runway collection was unveiled at the Brooklyn Navy Yards.
Drawing inspiration from ballet’s elegance and the fluidity of movement, the collection featured sculptural silhouettes. Earthy hues dominated the color palette, complemented by rich textures and vibrant green accents.
The collection reimagined heritage fabrics and traditional designs with modern cuts, hardware embellishments, and innovative layering techniques, showcasing standout pieces such as relaxed tailoring, barrel-leg trousers, draped shirts, and textured oversized coats.
