This may not be Disneyland, but it’s the next best thing for Filipino kids and those young at heart – and it certainly doesn’t disappoint.
Filipinos can now immerse themselves in a world of Disney magic with the opening of the country’s first Disney Store at the SM Mall of Asia, courtesy of International Toy World Inc. (ITWI), an SM Retail affiliate. The flagship store, which opened Sept. 27 at the Mall of Asia in Pasay City, offers an extensive range of official Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars merchandise for all ages.
“We’re excited to partner with SM and International Toy World Inc. to launch the first-ever Disney Store in the Philippines and Southeast Asia. With this store, we will extend the magic of Disney beyond the screen and bring much-loved characters and storytelling to our guests through products that are original and exclusive to Disney Stores,” said Sara Grewal, Vice President, Retail, Disney Consumer Products Asia-Pacific, during the store’s official opening.
Stepping inside the store feels like entering a different world, where beloved Disney characters come to life. Mickey and Minnie Mouse greet visitors at the entrance, while Ariel invites shoppers to explore a part of her world.
The store creates a wonder atmosphere with familiar faces and iconic moments from Disney films.
The wide variety of Disney merchandise is overwhelming in the best way. From toys and collectibles to apparel and homeware, shoppers can rediscover the characters they’ve loved for years.
Mickey Mouse ear headbands, a popular staple from Disney Parks, are a must-have. Fans of Marvel heroes can pick up Iron Man or Spider-Man collectibles. At the same time, Winnie the Pooh enthusiasts will find plenty of merchandise, including plush toys of Piglet, Eeyore, and Tigger.

The store is packed with authentic Disney, Marvel, Pixar, and Star Wars items, including princess costumes and themed outfits for children.

Adding to the experience are life-size statues of Disney characters placed throughout the store. Belle, in her yellow gown, stands in her castle surrounded by books, while Darth Vader menaces alongside stormtroopers, wielding his glowing red lightsaber. Spiderman swings through one corner, and Elsa can be seen casting her icy magic.
