THE Credit Card Association of the Philippines (CCAP) on Monday said its members must exert more effort to customer service amid a rise in credit card complaints worldwide.

The CCAP, whose members include 15 of the country’s universal banks, pointed out that complaints in major markets such as the United States and the United Kingdom have reached an all-time high as consumers expressed dissatisfaction with credit limits and interest rates.
