MANILA, Philippines — Actress-beauty queen Winwyn Marquez is now open for mother roles.
Since giving birth to her firstborn two years ago, the daughter of veteran stars Joey Marquez and Alma Moreno considers herself already fit to take on the more mature role of being a mom onscreen.
“Of course! Of course! Of course!” she declared when asked if she is open to mommy roles.
“Mas madaling umarte siguro kasi alam ko na ‘yung feeling ng isang mommy,” she told Philstar.com in an exclusive interview at the recent opening of Tokyo Posh Hair Extensions Bar in SM Aura, Taguig City.
In fact, she is now shooting a movie about moms and daughters for a new GMA film, “Mommy Dearest,” together with Camille Prats and Katrina Halili, due for release next year.
Although she is not playing a mom in the film, she is looking forward to finally portraying one. As of now, she takes on a variety of roles for different GMA drama shows.
“Adjusting pa rin pero mas madali na now compared before. Ang saya ng may daughter, bibihisan! I am loving it so far,” she said of being a mom to a two-year-old.
