MANILA, Philippines — Manila 2nd District Rep. Rolando Valeriano on Wednesday filed his certificate of candidacy (CoC) for reelection.
Valeriano, who will run under the National Unity Party (NUP), is in his second term.
The 1987 Constitution grants members of the House of Representatives a term of three years and allows them up to three consecutive terms.
Also on Wednesday, Giselle Maceda filed her CoC under Asenso Manileño.
If she wins in the May 2025 elections, she will succeed her husband, Manila 4th District Rep. Edward Maceda.
Earlier on Wednesday, former Malabon mayor Antolin Oreta 3rd filed his CoC for the post of congressional representative of Malabon’s lone district. Oreta will run under the NUP.
