MANILA, Philippines — Damage to infrastructure left by Typhoon Julian is nearing the P1 billion mark, the latest report of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council showed.

The report pegged the damage at P934,483,010.27, spread in Regions 1, 2 and the Cordillera Autonomous Region (CAR).

The Ilocos Region sustained the biggest damage at P738,157,080.27, followed by Cagayan Region with P158,362,000 and CAR, 37,963,930.

Agricultural damage was estimated at P321 million.
