Shaira Diaz on Tuesday revealed that she is currently recovering from an operation.
The “Unang Hirit” host took to Facebook to share that she underwent a laparoscopic appendectomy.
“Ang normal appendix daw ay kasing nipis ng eyelid, ang nakuha sakin ay triple ng laki niya, parang skinless longganisa. Mabuti nalang talaga at hindi pumutok. Salamat sa Diyos,” she said.
Shaira said that she’s recovering “but still in pain so please pray for me.”
“Important reminder: ALWAYS LISTEN TO YOUR BODY and see a doctor when something feels off. Wag babalewalain,” she added.
As seen in her Instagram Stories, Shaira’s fiance, EA Guzman, has been with her in the hospital. “I love you, thank you,” she wrote.
In his own IG Stories, EA said, “Aything for you, my love… Hindi ako magsasawang alagaan ka.”
Shaira and EA in February revealed that they’ve been engaged since 2021. Previously, Shaira said she wants to marry EA after finishing school.
In August, Shaira graduated from the University of Perpetual Help with flying colors.
