FOUR Philippine islands — Boracay, Palawan, Cebu and the Visayan Islands, and Siargao — made it to Asia’s top 10 islands list during the Condé Nast Traveler’s 2024 Readers’ Choice Awards, the Department of Tourism said.

“We are immensely grateful to global travelers who have chosen the Philippines and continue to explore the natural beauty and vibrant culture of our islands,” said Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco.

The Philippines emerged as the Asean country with the most number of islands on the list, confirming its status as Asia’s premier island destination.
