The family of Dingdong Avanzado and Jessa Zaragoza witnessed a rare natural phenomenon in the sky while in Canada!
On Instagram, the “Prince of Pinoy Pop” shared some snaps and clips of the Aurora Borealis they saw in Calgary.
Dingdong also posted a lovely photo of him, Jessa and their daughter Jayda with the stunning Northern Lights etched in their background.
“A rare sighting. This is one highlight of our North American tour we didn’t expect,” Dingdong wrote. “One of the things in my bucket list that I can now cross out.”
Auroras are caused by magnetic storms in the polar regions of the Earth. It’s called Aurora Borealis in the northern hemisphere, typically seen in Iceland, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Canada, and Alaska.
The same phenomenon—when the sky lights up with dazzling and dancing green, pink, purple, blue lights —is also visible from the southern hemisphere, where it is called Aurora Australis.
Dingdong is currently in Canada for the North American leg of his “Sa Aking Puso” tour.
A popular music figure in the ’90s, Dingdong is best known for his hit songs “Sa Aking Puso,” “Tatlong Bente Singko,,” and “Basta’t Kasama Kita.”
He has been married to Jessa since 2001.
