Pop-rock band LANY has wrapped up the first night of its three-night concert in Cebu, where they will perform until Oct. 15. LANY made history as the first international act to stage a three-night event in the city.
The concerts, part of the band’s “A Beautiful Blur” world tour, are being held at the Waterfront Cebu Hotel & Casino, following a performance at the Philippine Arena on Oct.12.
Formed in 2015, LANY has gained global recognition for its blend of synth-pop, electronica, and indie rock. Known for introspective lyrics and smooth vocals from lead singer Paul Klein, the band has captivated a strong millennial and Gen Z fanbase with hits like “ILYSB,” “Good Girls,” and “You!” Their music, often about romantic relationships, resonates deeply with fans worldwide.
The Cebu performances are part of a broader effort by the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) and Live Nation Philippines to promote Cebu as a prime destination for international concerts and tourism. This three-night event underscores Cebu’s growing status as a key venue for global artists and an attractive location for both leisure and business visitors.
