THE city government of Manila has provided cash and financial assistance to families that were affected by recent fires in the city.
Mayor Honey Lacuna and Vice Mayor Yul Servo led the distribution of assistance to fire victims in San Andres in the city’s fifth district on Wednesday, with each family receiving P10,000 cash aid. In a statement, Lacuna said this small amount is their way of making the affected residents know that the city government is there to help them start anew.
