What happens when two strangers with clashing personalities are forced to share a house?
Two of the country’s fast-rising artists, Kaori Oinuma and Jeremiah Lisbo, try to figure this out as they return to send major ‘kilig’ vibes in “Halfmates.” The newest romantic-comedy series from ABS-CBN Studios begins streaming today, October 18, 5:30 p.m., on ABS-CBN Entertainment’s YouTube channel.
In “Halfmates,” viewers will meet Dani (Oinuma), a young and sunny former OFW, and James (Lisbo), a quiet and structured guy whose lives get entangled after learning that they were scammed in a double sale of their dream house.
Living under the same roof will not be easy as they have clashing personalities.
Find out how they will manage to help each other find a solution to their problem amidst their complicated relationship and if their setup leads to something more.
The series marks Oinuma and Lisbo’s comeback project after their previous hit series “He’s Into Her,” “Fractured,” “The Four Bad Boys And Me,” and the movie “Love At First Stream.”
Asked what the secret to their unexpected love team is, Lisbo pointed out to their bond which is more than five years now.
“We’re familiar with each other and we already know how to treat one another. We’re no longer in an adjustment period when it comes to knowing each other,” Oinuma added.
“Halfmates” is under the production of RCD Narratives and is directed by Raz dela Torre, written by Chie Floresca and Akeem del Rosario, and joined by creative manager Arah Jell Badayos.
