Notably, Justin debuted as a solo artist earlier this year with the whimsical piece “Surreal,” followed by a rendition of Maroon 5’s “Sunday Morning.” Subsequently, he released his original Filipino song, “Kaibigan,” an evocative composition depicting the complexities of one-sided love. The track quickly garnered attention across platforms, with Justin attributing its success to the Filipinos’ love for “hugot” songs — relatable and heartrending ballads.
