PH secures back-to-back 3rd in Miss Globe 2024

For the second consecutive year, Jasmin Bungay achieved a second runner-up finish for the Philippines in Miss Globe 2024 during the World Final held at the Tirana Olympic Park in Albania on Wednesday.

Diana Morena of Colombia took home the title, while Prada Thansita Dilhokanansakul of Thailand was first runner-up. Germany’s Andromeda Schuster and Vietnam’s Ha Trang Do finished as third and fourth runners-up, respectively.

During the final Q&A round, Bungay was asked, “As technology changes quickly, how can we make sure we keep real connections and show human empathy in our daily lives?” She responded, “With the advancement of technology and the prevalent abuse in the technological world, I believe empathy is about living in the moment, treasuring real-life connections, not just through screens. Real connections happen face-to-face, where we truly feel each other.”

Bungay, a 26-year-old licensed teacher from Porac, Pampanga, was crowned Bb. Pilipinas Globe 2024 in July, succeeding Anna Valencia Lakrini, who placed second runner-up in Miss Globe 2023.

“Congratulations on bringing home the Miss Globe 2024 second runner-up crown. You have continually inspired us with your hard work and dedication throughout your Miss Globe journey,” the Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc. (BPCI) posted on Facebook.
