AS the Philippines celebrates National Anti-Piracy and Consumer Welfare Month this October, stakeholders in the creative and intellectual property (IP) sectors amplified their call to combat piracy.
Led by the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL), the country’s creative industry members and regulatory bodies urged Filipinos to support the fight against pirated content to protect local creators, the industry’s viability and the nation’s economic health.
