The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) supports nationwide Halloween film festivals, which offer diverse horror selections based on age-appropriateness to guide families and viewers.
SM Cinema’s “Sine Sindak Ika-5 Yugto” showcases Filipino thriller Nanay, Tatay, and Cambodian film Tenement. They are rated R-13 for viewers aged 13 and above.
Pasahero and The Thorn Sengkolo are rated R-16 for viewers aged 16 and above. My Mother’s Eyes from Crystalsky Multimedia drew R-13 and R-16 ratings to suit different viewers.
Robinsons Movieworld’s “Horrorkada Fest” presents 13 Exorcisms and The Haunting at St. Joseph’s, which both got R-13 ratings, while Ghostland, Immaculate, and Saw X were rated R-16.
Ayala Malls Cinemas revisits horror classics with The Lost Boys (R-13), Trick ‘r Treat (R-16), and Corpse Bride (PG). PG requires toddlers to be accompanied by adults.
