AROUND P1.08 billion has been collected from coin deposit machines (CoDMs) since these were introduced by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) last year to enhance the circulation of money.
The central bank reported on Monday that transactions had almost reached 255,906 as of Nov. 15, with over 280 million coins deposited and exchanged for e-wallet credits or shopping vouchers.
