• Allure Philippines, the latest edition of the globally renowned beauty authority, has officially announced Rissa Mananquil Trillo as editor-in-chief.
Allure is set to launch its Philippine edition in March 2025.

Rissa’s career has spanned modeling, journalism and business. She started as a top model in the Philippines, became a columnist for The Philippine STAR and later served as president of the Professional Models Association of the Philippines (PMAP), where she introduced reforms to protect models’ rights. She also co-founded a successful beauty brand and earned recognition as Woman Entrepreneur of the Year in 2017.
Beyond business, Rissa is a champion for sustainability and gender equality, working with organizations like UN Women Philippines. She holds degrees in Business Management and Business Sustainability Management, combining her expertise in beauty with a focus on responsible practices.
As editor-in-chief, Rissa plans to use Allure Philippines to explore how beauty intersects with wellness, identity and culture.

The entry of Allure Philippines will pioneer a new era of beauty expertise for Filipinos,” Rissa says.
She hopes to bring both global insights and local perspectives to Filipino audiences, creating content that feels relevant, thoughtful and empowering. “What excites me most is the power of beauty to influence change.
