Amid all the noise surrounding a controversial young couple in the supporting cast, it’s the powerhouse trio of Ian Veneracion, Richard Gutierrez, and Daniel Padilla who make “Incognito” a most thrilling series to watch out for ABS-CBN is set to kick off 2024 with a bang as its latest action-packed teleserye premieres on Netflix.
The big-budget production boasts a stellar cast under the helm of renowned action director Lester Pimentel Ong.
Coming off the success of the hard-hitting action series “Iron Heart,” Richard Gutierrez acknowledged the pressure of leading another major action project.

“You are only as good as your last project,” the seasoned actor admitted at the series’ grand media con but expressed gratitude for the strong ensemble cast and production team.
“This time around, I’m very thankful that I’m surrounded by a great group of artists, great group of creatives,” Gutierrez shared.
“We’re going to elevate the action once again with this one. We are working as a team. We enjoy that pressure, and we have no choice but to shine with that pressure.”
For Padilla, “Incognito” marks a bold leap into the action genre, an opportunity he’s excited to share with his family of iconic action stars.
“I’m kind of excited to show this to my dad… like this one’s unbeatable,” he quipped. “But really, our styles are all different. Let’s see what I can bring to the table,” he added with a mix of excitement and humility.
He also noted the immense scale of the production. “The action is amazing. I was so surprised. ABS-CBN’s support is amazing. The storyline, cast, and stunts — the production is huge. It’s the biggest show I have done in my whole career.”
Meanwhile, Veneracion highlighted the series’ aspiration to raise the bar for Filipino action dramas. “We are hoping to compete with international standards,” he shared.
“The cast underwent extensive training in combat, tactical maneuvers, and martial arts to prepare for the physically demanding roles. We were trained by real troops from abroad. Not only the Philippines. hindi lang sa Philippines.”
With the guarantee of three of Philippine Entertainment’s most sought-after action stars, there is no doubt that “Incognito” is ready to make waves on the global stage.
