Rupert Jacinto’s “Faaabvlous XII,” a photo exhibit, book launch and faaabvlousity gala night, was held recently at the Marriott Grand Ballroom. Guests of honor were: Austrian Ambassador Johann Brieger and Madame Roswitha Brieger; Faaabvlous awardee, “Artist of the Decade” Ramon Orlina; Minnie Osmeña who flew in from New York; and Marivic Madrigal Vazquez. Book covers were Jacqueline Michelle Lim and Sebastian Lim.

Rupert Jacinto has been tagged “Photographer to the Faaabulous” by the prestigious Washington Post, from an interview by Stephanie Mansfield. Presented in partnership with the Advertising Foundation of the Philippines, the event is in support of the Adfoundation’s advocacy and the Hydrocephalus Foundation of the Philippines, as well the construction of the Ina ng Laging Saklolo chapel in San Antonio and the San Juan Evangelista chapel in Sta. Rosa, both in Nueva Ecija. Sponsors were Titania Wine Cellar, Lilibeth Campos Jewelry and Hermès with gift prizes awarded to the Best Dressed in the audience.
