Maiqui Pineda is now in clinical remission!
The wife of Robi Domingo announced the good news on Instagram Sunday.
“The best early Christmas gift we could ever ask for – my doctor officially told me that I’m in clinical remission!” she said.
“Clinical remission means that the signs and symptoms of my autoimmune disease are now barely detectable, even if the disease may not be completely cured,” she added. “In short – I’m okay!”
Maiqui said they first heard of the news in November when they were on a Singapore trip, and her doctor called her a “Christmas miracle.”
“I’m beyond grateful for this gift and for the prayers and support that helped me keep going,” she said.
“Please know that it made a difference, so thank you!” she added.
In the comments, Robi and Maiqui’s celebrity friends shared their happiness over the good news.
“Awesome news! Happy, happy holidays!” Anne Curtis commented.
In September, Robi shared his 35th birthday wish: for Maiqui’s sickness to be gone.
In 2023, Maiqui was diagnosed with a rare form of an autoimmune disease called dermatomyositis.
Robi and Maiqui got married in January after getting engaged in November 2022.
