MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Thursday assured the public that the Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth) would continue giving benefits to its members, even without the additional subsidy in 2025.
The President issued the statement after the House of Representatives proposed a one-year suspension of contributions if the state-run insurer’s finances were healthy.
