DELIVERIES of passports will now be carried out by LBC Express, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said Thursday.

“To ensure a seamless transition to the new courier service provider, a customer service representative will contact applicants whose passport deliveries are affected by the change in courier service providers,” the DFA said in a statement posted on X (formerly Twitter).

AIR21, the agency’s former courier, announced via Facebook on Wednesday that it would no longer be providing courier services for passport deliveries effective Dec. 23, due to ongoing transition and system upgrade.

“For any updates or assistance regarding your passport inquiries, we recommend contacting the relevant authority or service provider directly,” it said.

“These changes may result in delays and/or adjustments to our delivery coverage in the coming weeks,” AIR21 added.
