MANILA, Philippines — Markki Stroem finished 4th runner-up in the Mister Universe 2024 pageant held earlier December 23 (Manila time) in Los Angeles, California.
In his Instagram account, Markki posted photos of him wearing the sash.
“What a journey,” he said, tagging the pageant tilt.”
“Ended up as 4th runner up! Not bad,” he added.
Markki also won Best in National Costume and Best in Talent.
“Happy to have represented the ‘Pearl of the Orient’, the Philippines! I am so deeply sorry, I guess, sometimes nerves take over,” he said.
He also thanked his designer and fans for their support.
“I would like to say a big thank you to my designers! @albert_andrada for this magnificent white suit! I will be thanking my designers one by one in the coming days,” he said.
“Maraming salamat Pilipinas! Maraming salamat sa suporta na binigay niyo sakin! Nakakataba ng puso! Now time for a little well deserved rest,” he added.
