A range of topics on customer service excellence, understanding and engaging customers, surpassing guests’ expectations, and proper handling of complaints, among others, were discussed during the training session.

The FBSE is one of the flagship programs of the DOT to banner the Philippine mark of service excellence in the global tourism industry.

With the learnings from the seminar, delivery of NMP external services, registration and certification, domiciliary, and library services will be improved and efficient public administration will be strengthened in accordance with Republic Act 11032, or the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery (EODB) Act of 2018, an amendment of RA 9485 known as the Anti-Red Tape Act (ARTA).

The activity concluded with a program with fun trivia and games about the lessons and salient points highlighted in the training in a relaxed and fellowship atmosphere spearheaded by the agency’s Sub-Committee on Anti-Red Tape (Sub-CART).
