UAAP Most Valuable Player Kevin Quiambao made his debut for the Goyang Sono Skygunners in the Korean Basketball League on Sunday, but it was cut short due to an apparent foot injury.

Quiambao played for around seven minutes of action only and posted six points and a rebound. The apparent injury came at the 7:44 mark of the second period when he had a bad landing after an attempt from rainbow country.

The Skygunners fell to the Seoul SK Knights, 84-57. Fellow Filipino import Juan Gomez de Liaño had eight points for the Knights.

In an Instagram story, Quiambao thanked those who prayed for him.

“Brb (Be right back),” he wrote, along with an emoji with the word soon.
